WHAT STAGE 2 DOES

BDT’s Stage 2 calibration methodically increases performance with gains up to 300 HP and 330 TQ while maintaining reliability and OEM-like drivability. Our cutting-edge calibration strategy safely maximizes the factory turbocharger’s potential and improves power delivery across the entire RPM range.

 

CRACKLE POPS (Overrun)

Also known as overrun. When decelerating from higher RPMs or free-revving in Neutral/Park, you’ll hear a crisp crackle from the exhaust/downpipe. This is subtle on stock exhaust systems and more pronounced with aftermarket downpipes/exhausts — adding a little extra “spice” to already tasteful exhaust notes.

 

BOOST CONTROL REFINEMENT

Factory boost control can feel uneven with a bumpy curve and slower response. BDT Stage 2 smooths and reshapes that boost curve for a crisp, linear surge of power during long pulls and full-band acceleration.

Q: Will crackles always be on?
