ECU Tune Modification Requirements
Stage 1 hardware (quick view): This is a stock-turbo / stock-downpipe friendly calibration. Intake, intercooler, drivetrain inserts, and fresh plugs are recommended for consistency and heat control. Downpipes are NOT compatible with Stage 1 for this platform.

Q: What do I need for Stage 1 on my 2014–2019 Beetle?
A: Nothing required beyond a healthy stock car. Intake, intercooler, and fresh plugs are strongly recommended for best results.
Q: Is a downpipe compatible with Stage 1?
A: No. If you have a downpipe, you need Stage 2 or higher.
Q: Can I flash at home?
A: Yes. Remote OBDII flashing with support is included. A Windows laptop is required.
Q: What fuel does Stage 1 support?
A: We build maps for your fuel availability. 91/93 octane are most common.
Q: Do you offer custom adjustments?
A: Absolutely. We can adjust pop levels, boost behavior, and fuel targets while keeping safeties intact.
