How Remote Tuning Works

Flash your A3 from home — no shop visit needed.

Schedule Your Flash — After purchase, scan the QR code or contact BDT to book your remote flash appointment.

Download TeamViewer — Install TeamViewer on your Windows laptop. BDT will remote into your machine to run the flash software.

Hook Up Battery Charger — Connect your battery charger/maintainer. Positive terminal first, then negative. The car needs stable voltage throughout the flash.

Turn Car to Accessory Mode — Key in ignition or press start without brake. Do not start the engine.

Plug In OBDII Cable — Connect the provided cable to the OBDII port (driver side, under dash).

BDT Takes Remote Control — We handle everything from here. You watch the entire process live on your screen.

Key Off on Command — When BDT says "turn key off," turn the car off immediately. Do not touch anything else.

Disconnect & Drive — Unplug the OBDII cable, remove the charger (negative first, then positive), start the car, and enjoy.

Post-Flash Note: You may see a few fault codes after flashing — this is normal. They clear after a short drive cycle.
