This Privacy Policy explains how Boost Dynamic Tuning LLC ("BDT," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the BDT Flasher mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

BDT Flasher connects over Bluetooth Low Energy to a compatible BDT hardware dongle to read information from, log data from, and install calibration ("tune") software onto your vehicle's engine or transmission control unit. To provide this service the App communicates with our servers to confirm your purchase entitlements and to receive the tune files and data-logging configuration for your specific vehicle.

The App requests Bluetooth permissions to find and connect to the BDT dongle. On some versions of Android, the operating system requires a location permission before an app is allowed to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. The App uses this permission solely to enable Bluetooth scanning. We do not collect, store, use, or share your physical location, and the App does not track where you are.
We use the information above only to provide and operate the App and the tuning service: authenticating you, delivering the correct tune and logging configuration, recording work performed, and providing customer support. We do not use your information for advertising.
Your information is sent to and stored on Boost Dynamic Tuning's own servers. We may share information only where necessary to operate the service (for example, our hosting provider), to comply with the law, or to protect our rights. We do not otherwise share it.
Data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Authentication tokens are stored on your device using the operating system's secure storage.
We keep service records for as long as needed to provide the service and maintain an accurate record of work performed on your vehicle. You may request access to or deletion of your personal information by emailing boostdynamictuning@gmail.com. Note that we may need to retain certain records related to tunes installed on a vehicle for safety and support reasons.
The App is intended for vehicle owners and tuning professionals and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
