We've been getting the same question for years: "When are you going to support the B9.5?"

The answer is now. Boost Dynamic Tuning has released full ECU calibrations for the 2021–2025 Audi A4, A5, and Q5 45 TFSI — the B9.5 hybrid EA888 Gen 3 2.0T platform running the SIMOS 19.7 ECU.

This isn't a port from an older platform. The B9.5 hybrid ECU strategy is fundamentally different from earlier EA888 setups, and most tuners in the U.S. still don't have a working answer for it. Integrated Engineering doesn't support it. 034Motorsport doesn't support it. BDT does — and every calibration is built from scratch in-house, validated through real-world logging and dyno testing.

Why the B9.5 Is Different

The 2021+ refresh brought significant changes under the hood. The hybrid EA888 uses a revised turbo integration, updated fueling strategy, and a completely new ECU calibration architecture on SIMOS 19.7. Off-the-shelf tunes from the B9 era don't work here — the tables, maps, and logic structures are different.

That's exactly why most tuners skipped it. Cracking the B9.5 hybrid required months of research, reverse engineering, and dyno validation. BDT put in that work. The result is a lineup of five stage options covering everything from a bolt-on-friendly Stage 1 to a full-send Stage 2+ E85 calibration pushing 350 WHP and 390 WTQ.

Every stage includes multi-level crackle/overrun pops (Dynamic mode only), speed limiter removal, raised torque and load limits, recalibrated boost gauge, IAT safety alert, and optimized VVT timing. All stages flash remotely through the OBDII port — no shop visit required.

How Remote Tuning Works
