Do I really never have to ship my ECU or visit a shop?
Correct. 99% of our tunes are 100% remote. Your ECU never leaves the car. You never leave your driveway. The whole thing happens over an OBDII cable and the internet.
Is remote flashing safe for my car?
Yes. Every tune keeps the factory safety logic intact (knock control, temp protection, torque modeling). Your stock file is saved before anything is written, so you can always flash back. Dozens of cars across all 50 states, zero tune-caused failures.
How long does the whole thing take?
The flash itself is 15-20 minutes. From the time you order to driving on the new tune is often the same day, depending on how fast you send your stock file back.
What's the difference between the app and the live flash?
The BDT Flasher app lets you flash yourself, anytime, for supported cars. The live remote flash is where we screen-share and do it for you - great for first-timers or platforms not yet on the app. Same result either way.
Can I go back to stock for a dealer visit?
Anytime, in about 20 minutes. We save your factory file before the first flash. Flash back to stock, hit the dealer, re-flash when you leave. No trace.
What if I get stuck or something goes wrong?
Text or call (843) 891-6687. We answer during business hours and walk you through anything. The flasher also has a recovery mode for almost every hiccup.
