MQB Audi A3 2.0t AWD MQB - E85 Stage 1 BDT Tune + 1/4 Dragy times!

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, 

The MQB e85 Stage 1 numbers are finally here! 

      We know they have been long awaited, but we promise that it's been for a good reason!  At Boost Dynamic Tuning we not only want to give you the best power gains, but we know at the end of the day drivability is of the utmost importance to you! That's why we take the time to work out any kinks we might find after we finish with the dyno tuning portion of the process! 

      Let me be the first to tell you this tiny mean machine just continues to exceed any, and all of my expectations! First of all, let's start with drive mode, this car is smooth. As you can see in our graph the power is set to a nice gradual on set. So, you get the control you need without feeling like you're constantly riding those breaks.  However, she's still giving you enough power to get over in that lane people don't want to let you into, if you catch my drift. lol

     Next, let's talk about the fun part, Sport mode! This car is an absolute neck breaker! The response and take off is just so insanely fast AND controlled. You're not going to feel like the car is taking you for a ride, instead you're going to feel like you are one with the car. What you say, it's going to do, and just when you think you are going fast enough, this bad bitty still has so much power band left to give. These mustangs better watch their backs, because in this car, you're going to take them to gapplebee's!

    Now, if you've been following along on the BDT journey, you should already know we have been tuning our b9 s5 at the same time as the a3. Right now, both vehicle are sitting at a beautiful e85 stage 1 tune, and well I don't want to break hearts, but wow does the a3 FEEL so much faster! Compared to the B9, the a3 is just snippy and ready to give it her all at the drop of a hat! Where as the b9 has so much comfort, you're not going to feel as much of that race car "pep" feel. Now obviously this is partially just due to weight/ size difference, but even with the s5 throwing down better dyno numbers, the a3 is giving it some competition in our books. 

     With all this being said, we could not be happier with what this platform has given us so far, and we still have so much potential left to unlock! It's about time we move on from this stage 1 life and get on to stage 2!
