Crackle Pops — Add Some Drama

When you decelerate from high RPMs or rev freely in neutral or park, you'll hear that exhilarating crackle and pop from your exhaust. It's the perfect way to add an extra dash of excitement to your already captivating exhaust sound!

Three crackle levels:

  • Low — Subtle, refined pops for daily driving
  • Medium — Noticeable and fun, turns heads
  • High/Intense — Flames possible with free-flowing exhaust

Crackle pops activate in Dynamic mode only. RPM dependent. Less noticeable on stock exhaust — aftermarket exhaust recommended for maximum effect.

How Remote Tuning Works — Flash From Home

This is a remote tune — you will be sent a cable to flash the tune. BDT connects via TeamViewer, walks you through reading your stock ECU, then flashes the updated calibration in real time. You're on a live session with the actual tuner.

  1. 1

Schedule your flash session after purchase.

  2. 2

    Download TeamViewer Quick Support.

  3. 3

    Connect battery charger: 10–25 amps.

  4. 4

    Key on, engine off.

  5. 5

Plug in the interface — OBDII port to USB.

  6. 6

Share your TeamViewer ID. BDT handles everything.

  7. 7

Key off on command. Fault codes clear on their own.

  8. 8

    Disconnect & drive.

Late Policy: $50 fee for late arrivals without notice. Reschedules must be made at least 1 hour prior.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What's the difference between Stage 1, 2, and 3?
A: Stage 1 requires no hardware. Stage 2 adds a supercharger pulley, heat exchanger, and spark plugs. Stage 3 is a full dual-pulley build with TCU, intake, bigger throttle body, and all Stage 2 hardware.

Q: Do I need a TCU tune?
A: Highly recommended for Stage 1 and 2. Required for Stage 3. The TCU tune raises torque limits and improves shift behavior.

Q: Does it support E40 ethanol?
A: Yes. E40 support is available on Stage 2 and Stage 3. An ethanol content sensor is recommended for E40.

Q: Are these WHP or crank numbers?
A: All power figures are wheel horsepower (WHP) measured on BDT's dyno with transparent before-and-after runs.

Q: Can I flash at home?
A: Yes. 100% remote with live support. A Windows laptop and WiFi are required.
