2.0T A6 Stage 2
Boost Dynamic Tuning’s Stage 2 ECU calibration methodically increases performance with gains up to 300 HP & 360 TQ, without any sacrifice in drivability or reliability. BDT’s calibration design efficiently and safely maximizes the factory turbo’s potential with OEM-style safety strategy.
Crackle Pops (Overrun)
Also known as overrun. When decelerating from higher RPMs (or free-revving in neutral/park), you’ll hear controlled pops from your exhaust/downpipe. Subtle on quiet setups — louder on freer-flowing exhaust. Tuned with RPM windows + safety logic to keep it fun and controlled.
Boost Control
Factory boost delivery can be bumpy and uneven during long pulls. BDT Stage 2 refines and smooths the boost curve so power comes on harder, cleaner, and stays consistent through the pull.
Power Gains
Expected Stage 2 gains (93 octane): up to 300 HP and 360 FT-LBS. Results vary with dyno type, altitude, weather, fuel quality, and supporting hardware.

A: Yes — Stage 2 requires a high-flow downpipe / exhaust flow upgrade to safely achieve the expected gains.
Q: Can I add crackles?
A: Yes — optional overrun/crackle is available in Dynamic mode and can be tailored (mild to aggressive) by request.
Q: Is a TCU tune required?
A: Not required, but highly recommended where equipped for torque management and better shift behavior.
Q: Can I flash at home?
