ECU Tune Modification Requirements
Stage 1 hardware summary (SEO): No downpipe required. Intake + intercooler are strongly recommended for consistent power. Fresh plugs/coils help keep misfires away when you turn it up.

Optional Crackle Pops (Overrun)
Optional overrun/crackle is available by request and activates only in Dynamic/Sport. Stock exhaust = subtle. Freer-flowing setups = louder. Calibrated with RPM windows and safety logic to keep it fun without being stupid.
Boost Control & Drivability
Factory boost can feel uneven during long pulls. BDT Stage 1 refines boost control so the car delivers a linear, predictable surge with improved response and stability — especially when you roll into it mid-gear.

Q: Does Stage 1 require a downpipe?
A: No. Stage 1 does not require a downpipe. Intake and intercooler are recommended for best consistency.
Q: Can I flash at home?
A: Yes. Remote OBDII flashing and support are included. A Windows laptop is required.
Q: What fuel does this support?
A: Typical 91/93 octane pump gas setups. Premium fuel is recommended for best results.
Q: Can you enable/adjust crackles?
A: Yep. Optional crackle is available by request (Dynamic/Sport only) and can be enabled/disabled or tailored.
Q: Will a TCU/DSG tune help?
A: Strongly recommended for shift behavior and torque management, but not required to run Stage 1.
